Dr. Terry M. Lee, D.O. (Dr. Terry) came to Durant in 1980 and established the Lee Family Clinic. He graduated from the University of Kansas before going to the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. He completed his internship at Tulsa Regional Medical Center and then began general practice in Wellington, Kansas before coming to Durant. His special areas of interest include gastroenterology, rheumatology, industrial medicine, general practice, and practice management. Dr. Terry sat on the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Foundation Quality Review (a quality control and "watchdog" organization) and is a past member of the Board of Directors for the Oklahoma Osteopathic Association. Dr. Terry is Board Certified in Family Practice.

Dr. Michael A. Lee, D.O. (Dr. Mike) joined the practice in 1981 after completing his internship at Tulsa Regional Medical Center. He had previously graduated from the University of Kansas and had attended the Kansas City College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery prior to his internship. His special areas of interest include emergency medicine, gastroenterology, pediatrics and general practice. Having served as Affiliate Faculty to the Oklahoma Chapter of the American Heart Association, Dr. Mike was awarded numerous distinguished service awards. Dr. Mike helps keep the group current with information about heart conditions. Dr. Mike is Board Certified in Family Practice

Dr. David Dillow, D.O. joined the practice in 1987. Dr. Dillow grew up in Kingston and obtained his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in Durant before entering medical school in Tulsa. Graduating from Oklahoma Osteopathic College of Medicine and Surgery, Dr. Dillow then completed his rotating internship at The Tulsa Regional Medical Center in Tulsa. Oklahoma. Dr. Dillow has special interests in sports medicine, pulmonary medicine, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and general practice. Dr. Dillow was recognized as Outstanding 1st Year Physician in 1988. Dr. Dillow currently serves as Chief of Staff at the Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma and was previously Chief of Staff in 1995. Dr. Dillow is Board Certified in Family Practice.

Dr. James R. Sumner, D.O. joined the practice in 1990. Dr. Sumner is a native of Oklahoma and after graduating from Sulphur High School attended East Central Oklahoma State University before attending pharmacy school at Southwestern Oklahoma State University. He became a registered pharmacist and is currently a registered pharmacist in the State Oklahoma. He then returned to medical school at the Oklahoma College of Osteopathic Medicine branch of Oklahoma State University and received his Doctorate degree. He then went on to complete five years of postgraduate training: one year of internship and a four-year residency in General Surgery at Tulsa Regional Medical Center. He received the Resident's Achievement Award (recognizing him as one of the top young surgeons in the country) in 1990. He brings to the clinic a new level of expertise in General Surgery. His practice is limited to General Surgery. Dr. Sumner is Board Eligible in General Surgery.

Dr. William Joseph ("Joe") Harrison, D.O. came to Durant in 1991 and joined what was then the Lee Family Clinic 1991. He graduated from Phillips University in Enid, Oklahoma before going to the Oklahoma College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery. He completed his Internship at Michigan Regional Hospital in South Bend, Indiana, and then went into private practice in Liberal, Kansas before coming to Durant. His areas of interest include Pediatrics, Industrial and Aviation Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Emergency Medicine. Dr. Harrison is Board Certified in Family Practice. Dr. Harrison was elected President of the OSU-COM Alumni association for 1997 and was Chief of Staff for Medical Center of Southeastern Oklahoma for 1997.

Dr. Jamie Akin, D.O. Dr. Akin joined the group in July 2005. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Oklahoma State University and received her Doctor of Osteopathy from OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Akin served as the Chief Pediatric Resident during her final year of residency at Tulsa Regional Medical Center. She was heavily involved in Neonatology during her residency. Dr. Akin is a member of the American College of Pediatrics.

Dr. Kevin Gordon, D.O. Joined the group in July 2005. Dr. Gordon is a native of Durant, attended Durant H.S. and SOSU where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He then attended OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Tulsa Regional Medical Center. Dr. Gordon specializes in Critical Care and Adult Medicine.

Dr. Brian Lee, D.C. (Dr. Brian) Joined the group in January of 2008. He attended Durant High School before continuing on to Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. He holds two bachelor of science degrees and a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. His special interests include chiropractic, acupuncture, and functional neurology.

Charlie Powers, Physician Assistant, joined the clinic in 1994. He attended the University of Oklahoma and provides a variety of primary care and support services as a member of the clinic health care team. Mr. Powers has several years of experience as a P.A. and enjoys geriatric care and emergency care.

Shelly Collins, Physician Assistant joined the clinic in January 2005. Shelly received her undergraduate degree from SOSU and her Masters of Health Science as a Physician Assistant from the University of Oklahoma. Shelly has a special interest in women's health and geriatric medicine.
